My Pleasantview teens are preparing for college, so I thought I'd take a look at some of the lots in Academie Le Tour. I opened this lot and my immediate response was 'KILL IT WITH FIRE'. It did not look in any way like a coffee shop. I don't think EAxis people even know what coffee is.

A makeover of the previously icky dormitory located in Academie Le Tour. It is a decent size that fits eight students. It features a cafeteria, tv and karaoke room, public study room, a game corner, women and men's restrooms, and a fire safety stairway at the back.

A complete revamp of the Greenman home in Riverblossom Hills. I tried working with the original, but it was just way too awful. The only thing that is original is the foundation. So if you are not keen on complete replacements of houses, I understand if I should perhaps not call this a 'makeover'.  :)

Maxis has a very strange way of making everything kind of 'hodgepodge'. I'm remaking my entire Takemizu Village to look Japanese because it just doesn't make sense for it to be a combination of China-Japan-Korea all smacked into one. To me, these cultures are all incredibly different from one another. You can't have them all at once!

This Maxis lot was originally called Takemizu Pagoda and Market, but I have removed the market aspect of it. I simply wanted it to be like the temples that I visit in Tokyo and not something like a restaurant. It just seems more aesthetically pleasing.
